A Million Women was born on the Day of Atonement, October 12, 2024, when more than 250,000 gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., with over 10 million joining online around the world for a ten-hour solemn assembly of fasting, repentance, and prayer. Together we cried out for mercy over America and declared Jesus as the highest authority over our nation. What was meant to be a single gathering became a historic prayer movement—revealing the power of united intercession to shift a nation and touch the nations of the earth.

In an hour when the nations are shaking, A Million Women is calling a generation of modern-day Esthers and Mordecais to arise in consecration, fasting, and bold prayer. We believe we are in a Jeremiah 9 moment, where death has climbed through the windows of our nations, and the women must stand before the Lord in repentance, contending for His mercy, and a return to biblical foundations.
What began in Washington, D.C., is now spreading across the world as a global Esther prayer movement—raising up a Psalm 68:11 company of women who carry the word of the Lord and stand in spiritual authority through united prayer and fasting. Together we contend for spiritual awakening, the renewal of nations, and the fulfillment of God’s redemptive purposes in the earth.
We believe a day is coming when a million Esthers and Mordecais will gather again—lifting their voices for the peace of Jerusalem and preparing the nations for the return of the Lord.
